Review: SHE REGRETS NOTHING by Andrea Dunlop

Thank you so much to Atria Books and Washing Square Press for providing my free advance copy – all opinions are my own.

“Truthfully, Reece loved her friend’s sharp eye toward the real world; it kept her honest, and she treasured Liberty’s good heart, her sense of justice.”

The story starts off at a funeral for Laila’s mom, who passed away suddenly. Her cousins show up at the funeral to pay their respects, only she had no idea they existed. Laila grew up relatively poor so when she realizes her cousins are wealthy socialites who live in New York… well, you can guess what can happens BUT I recommend picking up this book! It is so compelling and complex that I couldn’t put it down.

I LOVED Dunlop’s writing style! Reading back and forth seamlessly between the characters is so addicting! You HAVE to keep reading!! I absolutely love Liberty and Reece. They are very likable and relatable woman despite their high class background. They both have an actual moral compass, which is refreshing in this book. And WOAH, a couple of the other characters in the book (and I won’t name names) are awful, self absorbed, and downright cruel people.

I really enjoyed this book! It is a wild ride of deceit, broken families, secrets, blackmail, tawdry affairs, and yes, money. I highly recommend this book; trust me, you won’t want to miss out on the ending!

I rate this fabulous book 5 / 5 stars!
